2NE1 To Release 2 Music Videos For 'Come Back Home' The First Single Off Of 'CRUSH'

2NE1 fans may have to wait 48 additional hours for the group's highly anticipated album "CRUSH," but the group's record label is stacking the deck to make sure it is worth the wait.

Not only will there be two music videos for the group's Teddy-produced leadoff single "Come Back Home", an acoustic and an electric version, released on Feb. 28, but the group's label, YG Entertainment, intends to release two more music videos, for the songs "Gotta Be You" and "Happy."

In a statement released on YG's website on Tuesday, record label co-founder and CEO Yang Hyun Suk explained the reasoning behind his company's full court press of promotion for the new 2NE1 album.

"As 'CRUSH' is the first full-length album 2NE1 has released in several years, we are eager to showcase as many songs as we can," Yang said.

He added that the reason behind the highly anticipated album's release date getting pushed back two days, to midnight on the evening of Feb. 26 in Korea's time zone, was so that it could coincide with the birthday of 2NE1's frontwoman CL.

"The reason for the urgent change of date is to release the album on a more special day instead," Yang explained.

"As CL's birthday falls on Feb. 26, and especially because a whopping three songs on 'CRUSH' were written by CL, [we wanted the album to be released on her birthday]. I ask for your generosity and understanding for the change."

The K-pop label executive added that the difference in the two versions of "Come Back Home" made the idea of releasing two music videos for the song a no-brainer.

"The two different versions are greatly different from each other," he said.
