Davichi fans, the duo might not be singing under the label of Core Contents Media because their contract has "expired." Now the question comes on what will the ladies do now that their contract is over. Will Davichi renew or move to another agency?

One representative from Core Contents Media said to news media Xports News on February 28th what the agency is doing. The representative said, "Davichi's contract has come to its expiration date... We are currently in talks with Davichi on possibly renewing their contract." Another representative said, "Davichi's contract has expired so we're currently negotiating with them... Nothing has been confirmed yet."

Though, another representative said, "Davichi's contract has expired and their contract renewal does not seem likely." Finally, another representative told news media Sports Seoul by saying, "CEO Kim Kwang Soo tried to resign Davichi, but it didn't work out." Four representatives from the agency; each with a different explanation by two saying that they are talking with the girls for them to stay. While the other two are saying that they will move on by going to another agency by them having no intention of renewing their contract. So what will they really do?

Davichi did try to leave Core Contents Media on the year 2012; though they decided to stay for one more year. Now it is 2014, and their contract has expired on February 23, 2014. So far, the duo has been quiet until this news came out. Their last single was on 2013 which was a sad ballad song titled, "The Letter."

So, what will Lee Haeri and Kang Minkyung do? Now that their contracts are expired, they are considered "free agents." They can decide to join a better agency if they are unhappy on where they are. If Lee and Kang were happy working at Core Contents Media, why did they let their contract expire? They should have renewed it and not let the date mentioned earlier not pass.
