According to The Wrap, Jennifer Lawrence met Justin Bieber at the Saturday night Vanity Fair party at the Hotel du Cap. Jennifer Lawrence and Justin Bieber were reportedly introduced at Lawrence's request at the film festival's Vanity Fair Armani party. According to Gossip Cop, the magazine reports that when the Oscar winner found out about the singer's surprise arrival, she exclaimed, "I want to meet Bieber!!"

Staffers were sure to make her wish come true.

Unfortunately, Jennifer Lawrence and Justin Bieber declined to be photographed together by the paparazzi, because the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay" actress reportedly wanted to "meet as real people."

But let's not forget Jennifer Lawrence isn't a single woman - she's dating her "X-Men: Days of Future Past" co-star Nicholas Hoult.

Instead, Justin Bieber left with another lady, who is just as surprising of a choice for the "Baby" singer: Paris Hilton!

According to E! News, the hotel heiress was spotted partying in Cannes at Busta Rhymes' birthday party at Gotha Nightclub with Justin Bieber. At one point, Justin was shirtless and Paris Hilton hopped into his lap while he sat on a throne - we don't make this stuff up!

Hilton is 33 and Bieber is 20 but that may not be enough to deter her - her most recent boyfriend was 22-year-old model River Viiperi.

Bieber and Hilton were later spotted leaving the club together.

Adrian Grenier was another unexpected celebrity who talked to Bieber. When E! News asked Grenier if he was surprised to see Bieber walk into the Cannes Film Festival party, Grenier shrugged, "It's Cannes - why not?"
