Eugenie Bouchard is the best tennis player that Canada has ever seen... and she is only 20! Not only is Eugenie Bouchard a fantastic athlete, but also is great looking. So good looking that some critics have dubbed her the next Maria Sharapova. But bad news, ball boys, she is taken! Eugenie Bouchard has been linked with an Belarusian-American hockey player, Alex Galchenyuk. Pictures of the same aged athletes hanging out in games are all over the internet, sparking rumors about their romance.

Alex Galchenyuk is not internationally famous like Eugenie Bouchard, but he is quite well-known as the rising star of NHL. He was the third overall pick in the 2012 NHL entry draft and made a huge impact for the Montreal Canadiens, the team often referred to as Habs. He played a key role in Montreal Canadiens' victory in the NHL playoffs, though the team got eliminated by the New York Rangers. Alex Galchenyuk boasts 31 points in the regular season and 3 in the post-season. Eugenie Bouchard and Alex Galchenyuk reportedly met when he moved to Montreal, her hometown, to join the Montreal Canadiens. There has been only three instances in which Canadian women made into the semifinals of a Grand Slam, and two of those times, it was Eugenie Bouchard. Her first Grand Slam semifinals was back in 2013 Australian Open when injury-laden Ana Ivanovic couldn't step up to the game. However, her most recent win against the Spanish Carla Suarez Navarro comes from her own tenacity and talent. The Canadian beauty defeated the tennis veteran in a close, but enduring three setter, 7-6, 2-6, 7-5. Eugenie Bouchard will now face Maria Sharapova, her idol, in the semifinals.
