Okay, not to make Emma Watson's legal trouble way over-the-top, but she has been accused for illegally hiring a housekeeper to clean her north London house. Will her boyfriend Matt Janney care about 'Noah' actress' shady dealings?

Emma Watson could have easily avoided her current legal trouble by hiring a housekeeper who can legally work in the UK. But no use crying over spilt milk. The Home Office is currently investigating whether her maid is indeed working illegally at 'Noah' actress' £2m north London house.

If her boyfriend Matt Janney knew about this (which he probably did from his many visits and sleepovers), he may be an accessory in the crime!

Emma Watson's housekeeper was stopped by UK immigration staff and questioned about her ability to pay for her stay in the country. Between September 2013 and February 2014, the housekeeper is said to have spent a total of three months in the UK.

The 24-year-old actress employed the maid to clean her New York apartment last year. The claims are that the woman made trips to London to also clean her three-storey Georgian terraced house in Islington.

If this is true, Emma Watson can face a fine up to £10,000. But let's face it, what's £10,000 to a star with a networth of £30 million ($50 million).

Emma Watson is currently in London attending David Cameron's 'Cool Britannia' party in Downing Street. The bigger question is, did she invite her boyfriend Matt Janney? The Oxford rugby star, often noted as the most eligible bachelor in the university, should look dashing in tux.

Her representatives did not comment on the legal trouble over her housekeeper cleaning the north London house. Looks like Emma Watson is too busy hanging out with Matt Janney and has a bigger fish to fry than to worry about her £10,000 fine.
