Park Bom's Absence Continues On 'Roommate' Despite Castmates Heading To Japan

Amidst the drug scandal controversy, Park Bom of 2NE1 will continue to abstain from filming for the reality series "Roommate."

Recently, SBS confirmed that the cast members of "Roommate" will be vacationing in Taiwan and Japan to celebrate their 100th day together.

Reportedly, Lee So Ra, Jo Se Ho, Nana, and Soo Hyun will depart for Taiwan on July 11. This is presumed to coincide with Chanyeol of EXO performing in Taipei on July 11 and July 12. Meanwhile, Shin Sung Woo, Lee Dong Wook, Seo Kang Jun, Park Min Woo, and Song Ga Yeon will travel to Japan for a three-day-two-night vacation to commemorate "Roommate."

Unfortunately, it's been reported that Park Bom will not be joining the Japan team despite 2NE1 holding its "All or Nothing" concert in Kobe on July 12 and July 13. It is currently unknown when Park Bom will rejoin the cast for filming.

"I am very sorry to all for having a great controversy because of me," said Park Bom according to her record label YG Entertainment. "Because I feel terrible, I don't have the confidence to film for 'Roommate.'"

According to YGLadies, Park Bom is not allegedly "kicked out" of "Roommate," but choosing not to film.

"I want Park Bom to meet them in Japan too," commented 1234 on allkpop. "This isn't fun without Bom."

"Park Bom we will miss you on 'Roommate,'" wrote Kanhee14 on July 12. "Waiting until you come back and film again."

So far, Lee Dong Wook is the only "Roommate" cast member who has commented on Park Bom's alleged drug smuggling scandal.

"My heart is uneasy about it, but I don't think that it's something I can say anything about," said the actor during a press conference for the MBC drama "Hotel King." "I think that it will work itself out."
