Visa Complications Force GOT7 To Perform At Golden Disk Awards With Only 5 Members

Group GOT7 recently performed at the Golden Disk Awards with 5 out of 7 members due to visa issues. Despite the inability of the group to perform as a whole, GOT7 blew away expectations with their fruitful performances.

GOT7 attended the 29th Golden Disk Awards held in Beijing, China on the 14th.  Although members Bam Bam and YooGeom originally intended on attending the awards with their group, visa troubles got the best of their situation and they were unable to perform with the rising group. Instead, members JB, YongJae, Mark, Jr, and Jackson held their places during the ceremony.

After winning the rookie awards along with Winner in the digital category, the group went on to perform their colorful hits "A" and "Girls, Girls, Girls".

A representative of the awards ceremony posted on the official 29th Golden Disk Awards facebook page, "Due to some visa issues, some members of GOT7 may not be able grace the stage."

It was also revealed that group BEAST, whom were originally slated to appear on the 14th, ran into similar troubles are were therefore unable to attend. In addition, members Bam Bam and YooGeom of GOT7 and JungGook of Bulletproof Boys were also unable to attend due to visa issues and an official apology was issued on the behalf of the award ceremony.    

The 29th Golden Disk Awards was split into two segments, with the first day being led by Kim Jong Gook and Kim Sung Joo and the second day being led by Leeteuk, Jun Hyun Moo, and Tiffany. The award show was streamed through China's top streaming site iqiyi.com and broadcasted through JTBC to the viewing public.
