f(x)'s Amber Releases Solo Album

Amber became SM Entertainment's latest idol to debut as a solo artist with her mini-album "Beautiful." She is f(x)'s first solo artist to have a solo debut.

Amber released two music videos from her album, a lyric video for "Beautiful" and a celebrity-filled music video for "Shake That Brass." Girls' Generation's Taeyeon featured on "Shake That Brass" and other SM Entertainment artists, including Red Velvet's Wendy will appear on music shows with Amber.

The music video for "Shake That Brass" achieved over 2 million views on YouTube within 48 hours of being uploaded.

YG Entertainment Confirms Big Bang's First Comeback Since 2012

YG Entertainment's CEO, Yang Hyun Suk, spoke about Big Bang's upcoming comeback this week. He revealed that Big Bang would be releasing a new album in April, and praised it very highly. This will be Big Bang's first Korean album since 2012's "Still Alive" repackaged album. Since then, the members have participated in group tours and pursued solo activities.

The CEO also discussed other YG Entertainment releases for 2015, and revealed that iKon would debut after Big Bang's album.

4Minute's "Crazy" Receives Global Praise

Cube Entertainment's girl group 4Minute made a comeback with "Crazy," a song that has received praise for its style and sound. Several outlets, including the US's Billboard spoke positively about "Crazy," and said that the song brought new vitality to the five-year-old girl group.

In contrast, "Crazy" also was criticized for being closely linked to several songs, including the concept for Big Bang member G-Dragon's solo song, "One of a Kind."
