Kim Yuna And Ex-Boyfriend Kim Won Joong Reportedly Back Together After Recent Controversy

After breaking up last year, Olympic figure skating champion Kim Yuna has reportedly gotten back together with ice hockey player Kim Won Joong.

According to Koreaboo, an anonymous source revealed to Osen that the Kim Yuna and Kim Won Joong "are seeing each other again."

"Although they broke up mid-last year, they recently began meeting after much consideration," continued the source. "As they broke up once, it's difficult to confirm their situation, however, they are certainly developing positive feelings for each other."

While unconfirmed, many believe that the timing of their break up is linked to Kim Won Joong's controversy last August.

Reportedly, under a special physical military training camp in Ilsan, Kim Won Joon took secret drives from the camp to Thai massage parlors, a violation of army guidelines in South Korea.

Kim was reportedly involved in a car accident on July 30 on his way back from the massage parlor, and sustained a ligament rupture on his right knee. Because of this incident, news also got out that the hockey player, four other soldiers and their coach have been keeping these visits a secret for over a month.

Currently, Kim Yuna is attending Korea University and is the official ambassador for the 2018 Winter Olympics, with the organizing committee expecting "her to take the lead in promoting the games to the world."

According to CBC, Kim helped campaign for Pyeongchang during the city's bid at the International Olympic Committee meeting in South Africa in 2011. As one of the presenters during the meeting, Kim helped South Korea win its selection as host for the upcoming games.

"The memories that I made with the bid committee are still fresh in my mind," Kim said after being appointed ambassador. "With these memories in stow I am excited to bring the same passion and commitment with me to this new role with the organizing committee."
