EXO's Xiumin Talks About His Age and Youthful Appearance, Compares Himself to Fellow Member Sehun

One of the more common stereotypes for Asians is their apparent slow-paced aging. Some people believe that it's the genetics at play that make Asians look more youthful while there are also the cynics who believe that Asian youth is attributed to cosmetics and surgery. However, whether you're Asian or not, there are people who are just naturally youthful-looking even without trying and it is safe to say that they're just born that way. One such person is Xiumin of the beloved k-pop group EXO.

In a report made by Allkpop, Xiumin had recently sat down for an interview on SBS PowerFM's 'Cultwo Show' where he made a guest appearance together with fellow EXO-CBX members Baekhyun and Chen. Apparently, when the 26-year old introduced himself as the oldest member of the group, Cultwo couldn't believe it.

"But you look like you're the youngest." The DJ commented.

Instead of giving a direct response to the DJ's comment, the singer-actor instead opted to compare himself with fellow EXO member Sehun. "If there is one person I am often compared to, it would be Sehun. Even if I am much older than Sehun, he looks more mature than I am."

It should be noted that Xiumin is four years older than Sehun. DJ Cultwo immediately assured Xiumin that he probably won't age. "You appear like a young prince. You probably won't age." He said.

Xiumin along with Chen and Baekhyun have recently been introduced as the newest members of EXO's sub-unit EXO-CBX. For months, there have been speculations that SM Entertainment would form a sub-unit group of EXO and after the three released an original soundtrack for the TV series Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, people quickly assumed that they would be the members to form the sub-unit.

On October 5, SM Entertainment finally confirmed that they will in fact form an EXO sub-unit comprised of Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin and will be called EXO-CBX (CBX being the first letters of each member's names). According to Soompi, the group had recently released their extended play 'Hey Mama' and had performed in a showcase at the Samseong-dong COEX in Seoul on October 31.

SM Entertainment had also launched a new website for the sub-unit. Watch out for more news on EXO-CBX.
