BTS Reveals They Still Can't Feel Their Immense Popularity

Well, BTS is dominating the k-pop scene right now and with the release of their latest album 'WINGS', they have fully established themselves as a powerful force in the world of k-pop. With WINGS and the 'Blood, Sweat and Tears' track, BTS have broken numerous records and have topped several charts including the Billboard 200 chart which placed them at no. 26, the highest ever rank that a k-pop artist has ever held. It is definitely safe to say that BTS has finally achieved widespread fame and popularity not just in their home country of South Korea but in many other parts of the world as well.

Surprisingly, however, in a recent interview with My Daily, BTS had revealed that they are still unable to feel the immense popularity that their group has achieved. And if you're wondering as to what could be the reason why these boys aren't feeling the tremors of their popularity, well, you can blame it on their success. Apparently, these well-loved boys have become too busy with their promotions that they had little time to stop and indulge in all of that success.

"As soon as we began our promotions, all of our time was devoted to making appearances in music shows that is why we haven't gotten a chance to feel our increased popularity let alone revel in it." BTS Jungkook explained, as reported by Allkpop. "However, we did notice that we are being mentioned a lot in a number of variety shows lately and after reading a number of articles about us, that is only when it dawned on us that we have become much more popular."

Suga then shared how he was watching Radio Star one time when their group suddenly popped up. "I was actually surprised when BTS was suddenly mentioned while I was watching Radio Star. I've also seen our group on the news more so I knew then that our popularity had just blown up."

However, their popularity didn't just happen overnight as Rap Monster explained how they had to work from the ground up just for this moment.

"There are people who believe that we have gotten successful from our promotion of Blood Sweat and Tears but it has never been that way. We've always wondered and even stressed out as to why we're so slow when it came to success. We've always wondered that but now, I believe we have finally achieved something that is close to that." Rap Monster said during the interview.

Suga would once again go on to say their fans know how they're climbing up one step at a time.

In other news, SBS Popasia had recently reported that the group's MV for Blood, Sweat and Tears have broken another YouTube record becoming the fastest k-pop act to hit 40 million views and doing it in just 23 days.
