Here's how much money BIGBANG has made this 2016

BIGBANG is definitely one of South Korea's finest treasures and thankfully, they're generous enough to share them with the rest of the world. Great talent would of course attract great success and BIGBANG has definitely done that. With all the success that the group has achieved, it's not surprising that they would also catch the attention of highly respected publications like Forbes.

Just recently, BIGBANG was included in the "30 Highest Paid Celebrities Under 30" list of the business magazine, Koreaboo reports. This list features several of the world's brightest stars from famous athletes like Neymar and Rafael Nadal, A-list actors such as Jennifer Lawrence, and music superstars like Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Adele and Drake. Now, the big question here is how much did K-Pop superstars BIGBANG make this year for them to be included in the list?

According to Forbes, for this year, BIGBANG had made a whopping USD 44 million, which also make them the first Korean act to earn that much. This amount automatically places them on the 30 list ranking at no. 13, narrowly missing 12th place occupied by Jennifer Lawrence's USD 46 million. The only other boy group on the list is One Direction at no. 2 with USD 110 million while singer Taylor Swift tops the entire list with USD 170 million in earnings.

Earlier this year, the group was also included in Forbes "Celebrity 100" list placing them at no. 54 and becoming the first k-pop act to ever be included in the list. The group had also been reported to have made more than band Maroon 5 this year and the only other boy groups to have made more than BIGBANG are One Direction and the legendary Backstreet Boys.

This is all thanks to the incredible fan base BIGBANG has accumulated all over the world. They have definitely become one of the world's top boy bands and the main proponents of K-pop in the world. Watch out because BIGBANG is set to make an incredible comeback this December.
