Uhm Jung-Hwa Resumes Her Acting Career In Upcoming MBC Drama 'You Are Too Much'

Uhm Jung-Hwa who recently has released her new album is reported to resume her acting career in TV drama. The acclaimed singer and actress will play in new weekend drama “You Are Too Much” which to be aired on MBC.
Young actress Ku Hye-Sun plays together with Uhm in the new drama “You Are Too Much” according to official release from the MBC. Uhm plays a singer who has glorious career for 20 years named Yoo Ji-Na. However, she is not able to enjoy her success because of the emotional pain she felt inside.
Meanwhile Ku played as a young singer Jung Hae-Dang who impersonate Ji-Na’s singing style. She is a singer at club and somehow the relationship between Hae-Dang and Ji-Na will intertwine.
“You Are Too Much” is scheduled to run 50 episodes according to report by Joong Ang Daily. The drama is aimed to become weekend drama which air on Saturday and Sunday at 8:40 pm on MBC. It will take over the timeslot of the drama "Blow Breeze" which will wrap up its final episode on Feb. 12.
Uhm recently just released a new album titled “The Cloud Dream of the Nine” which was released on Dec.27, 2016. She is a long reigning top singer since her debut in 1993 and many singers look up to her as the icon of tenacity.
The 47-year old singer and actress is also known to be a have a good acting skill. She started her acting career in 1993 and the winner of two Baeksang Award for Best Actress in 2002 for her role in “Marriage is Crazy”and in 2012 for playing the wife of Hwang Jung-Min in “Dancing Queen.”
Her latest acting project is a romantic comedy movie in “Wonderful Nightmare” in 2015. She played a successful lawyer who suddenly wake up in a body of a housewife, a mother of two daughters and married to an ordinary civil servant.
