Jessica Jung recently becomes the subject of talking following her surprising confession about Girls' Generation during an interview session with Marie Claire Taiwan. SONE, Girls' Generation's fans, have been sending negative feedbacks to the girl group's former member for allegedly damaging Girls' Generation's reputation in her confession.

Jessica Jung was recently interviewed by Marie Claire Taiwan. During the interview, she talked about her recent life as a soloist as well as a fashion designer. The singer revealed how she's grateful for taking a decision to leave Girls Generation. However, Jessica Jung's confession might have upset SONE. According to Korea Boo, SONE can't stand the fact that Jessica Jung could speak about Girls' Generation in such manner while she hasn't been a part of the group for three years. Many SONEs believe that Jessica Jung wouldn't have been able to launch her own fashion label if she hadn't been a member of Girls' Generation.

Fortunately, Marie Claire Taiwan comes to Jessica Jung's defense to clarify the recent issue. The news outlet stated that Jessica Jung typically wouldn't answer any questions related to Girls Generation if the interviewer wouldn't have been so persistent. Marie Claire also emphasized that Jessica had always rejected to answer questions related to Girls Generation in the past interviews.

On the controversial interview, Jessica revealed that being a member of the veteran girl group is exhausting. She also stated that she just wants to create something for her own sake now that she left the group. According to Jessica, if it weren't for her brave decision to step out from Girls Generation, she wouldn't have been able to achieve her passion.

Since her departure from Girls' Generation, Jessica Jung has released several singles and three albums. Her latest release was a mini-album "With Love, J" that was released on May 17, 2016. She also released a Christmas album "Wonderland" in December 2016. "With Love, J" topped eight music charts and claimed the first spot in Gaon Weekly Album Chart and Hanteo Weekly Chart.
