IU just showed how he truly loves those who idolize her. Just recently, the singer-songwriter gave a surprise visit to an ambitious musician who dreams of becoming like her.

As reported by Koreaboo, IU starred as a guest for Dingo Studio's "You Did Well Today" episode. During the said episode, the singer-songwriter did a surprise visit to a special fan who dreamed of becoming like IU.

The fan, Yu Rim, was in her studio room spending her time creating music. IU then sneaked into the room and sat behind Yu Rim.

When Yu Rim turned around and saw IU, the aspiring musician immediately puts down her pen, covered her cute blushing face, and cried. Yu Rim then expressed how honored she was to be sitting in the same room with IU.

IU and Yu Rim then talked about music and basked in the joy of their similarities. Yu Rim was obviously spellbound by IU but was also taking notes at the same time.

IU then asked Yu Rim what she found most difficult. Yu Rim then replied how she was starting to feel so discouraged from reaching her dreams, mostly because of her feeling that other people are a much better singer than she is.

"There's no real standard to determine whether you're 'good' at something, especially because we can't make everyone happy. So you have to find something you like, and meet people who like what you like," said IU towards Yu Rim. IU continued by saying how Yu Rim should be confident at all times.

In other news, IU recently earned the No. 1 spot on Billboard's World Album's Chart with her latest album "Palette". This is IU's first time ever to achieve the No. 1 spot on the Billboard charts.

IU sold over 1,000 copies of "Palette" during the first week of its release. The first week of May also marked the best week of sales for "Palette" in America.
