JYP Entertainment officially sued the propagators of hateful comments against TWICE. In a statement released on Wednesday, October 23, the agency revealed that the deplorable remarks have been passed to the authorities.

"The judgment was made that malicious comments and posts with defamation, sexual harassment, and personal attacks directed towards TWICE have reached an extremely severe level, and criminal complaints were submitted on October 2 to the Guangdong Police Station in Seoul," the statement said.

"The criminal complaints of eight malicious commenters have been processed and are currently being investigated. Additional criminal complaints will be filed for similar cases," added the official statement.

Further, JYP Entertainment vows to take action against malicious comments against all their artists and that they have "considered that our artists' personal rights and level of mental exhaustion can be severely affected, and we will firmly take all possible legal action for cases like these."

"We will take firm action for such actions without settlement or leniency," the agency concludes.

Meanwhile, TWICE just kicked off the Japan leg of their world tour TWICELIGHTS. Chaeyoung, however, had to sit this one out because of health reasons, despite coming to Japan with her members. According to a report announced on October 23, Chaeyoung was not feeling well and even had a medical check-up. Hence, she decided to focus on her recovery.

But the most surprising part was when Mina suddenly showed up at the concert. Lately, the nonet's vocalist has been actively participating in the group's schedule of activities after her two-month hiatus due to anxiety disorder. This includes TWICE's recent 4th Anniversary Fanmeeting (and also Halloween party). She even took her part in the preparations of their forthcoming Japanese album and latest Japanese music video.

And now, she just made a sudden appearance at the concert with her seven members.

Unfortunately for the fans who weren't able to attend the show, they aren't going to see what went down because Japan has a strict rule of not taking any photo or video during the event. Meanwhile, there are audios that can be found on the web while the other audio live-streamed. ONCEs tweeted simultaneously and after the concert as well.

A fan was quoted posted, "From the first talk, it seems like Mina won't be participating much in the talking segments today either, like in the fan meet. But she's performing and that's already more than enough. So glad to see she's taking small steps."

Another one added, "Mina traveled but I did not expect her to perform. TWICE is just such a tight team."
