During the performance of SuperM in San Diego Concert, a circulating rumor in different social media platforms caused by a post enraged Shawols and SuperM fans after a supposed to be "fan" claimed that she flashed her private upper part of a woman's body to Taemin.

On the fan's Instagram post, she uploaded a photo of Taemin, and she wrote, "The way I flashed Taemin, and then he flashed me. No, but really, such an iconic moment. I didn't think I was gonna be able to do it, but I did. Yes, I have a case of Peritonitis (an abdominal infection)."

Netizens then noticed the post and asked her if it was real, and later on, she confirmed that it was true, and what disgust fans is that other netizens were supporting her. 

"Do you think Taemin saw?" a user asked. 

"I think he did, to be honest, cause we were [sitting]in the front row of our section, and we made eye contact earlier before. He kept on looking in our direction, so I just took the opportunity."

Also, she then added that if the male idol did not, she would be mad, for she purposely held it for five seconds. She also made an unpleasant remark saying, "It better have been worth it, or I am biting off his D*ck."

However, several netizens were siding to the female fan and defending her, saying that it doesn't matter for SuperM members weren't minors anymore, and this should be normal. 

"Not you equating her to a perv on the street for flashing her t*ts? And I hate when you all bring up children. Kai has his chest out, and Taeyong grinds on the floor, but when a girl shows her breasts, it's too much? Nobody's responsible for your kids but you. "[posted by @HISLILFREAK]

Meanwhile, this offends several shawols, who were protecting and treating Taemin like a baby. At the same time, he is in SHINee, as for being the maknae, [the youngest member] shawols were extra careful on handling Taemin and doing this to the male idol doesn't belong the Shawol's culture.

"Just because Taemin's a grown man doesn't mean he wants to see someone's bo*bs unsolicited. I these people are adults, would they like if some guy randomly flashed their [private organ] at them? [...] saying he's famous is like saying he's asking for it." [comment by @hi_imdaisy]

Moreover, EXO-ls and NCTzens were also angered for involving Kai and Taeyong in the issue, wherein people were pointing out it's okay for them to perform almost naked while fans can't even do it. EXO-l and NCTzens think this doesn't make sense at all for, buying a concert ticket, fans were expecting them to do that, and it was just part of their performance, not violating anyone's personal consent. 

The issue then blew big after fans and netizens' opinions clashed, and later on, the account which posted the first post, which caused the turmoil in social media, asked for an apology; however, she was confused about why it needed to be a concern at all. 

She wrote, "It's not like I tried to run onstage to him or like I grabbed him inappropriate outside [...] seriously, there are bigger things to be concerned over right now."
