TikTok will be holding an online concert, and K-pop artists such as SHINee Taemin, Super Junior Kyuhyun, and more have been revealed to decorate the event with spectacular performances!

SHINee Taemin, Super Junior Kyuhyun, & More to Appear on 'TikTok State Solo Night' Concert

On April 26, TikTok, a global short-video application, announced that they will be holding an online live concert. It will be broadcast live via the 'TikTok Stage' account on the TikTok application.

The on-tact concert, titled "TikTok Stage Solo Night," will feature outstanding numbers by a total of four K-pop artists. They will perform various genres of songs such as dance, ballad, hip-hop, and electronic.

One of the performers will be Super Junior Kyuhyun, who made his solo comeback on April 13 with a digital single titled "Coffee." The song is part of the idol's "2021 Project: 季" series, and it symbolizes the season of spring.

Another artist that fans expect to perform is SHINee member Taemin. Last year, the solo artist released his third full album titled "Never Gonna Dance Again." The album was released in two parts, in September and November.

Recently, Taemin has announced that he will begin his mandatory military service next month. He is the last SHINee member to enlist. P NATION's Jessi will also take part in the upcoming "TikTok Stage" concert. The female solo artist also returned with new music in the past month. On March 17, she dropped her new digital single entitled "What Type of X." The music video for the song is Jessi's fastest MV to reach 10 million views on YouTube.

The last solo artist is Lee Young Ji. Like Jessi, she is also a rapper in the K-pop industry. Young Ji collaborated with Girls' Generation Hyoyeon last year for a track titled "I Do What I Want" for the final round of the television competition show "Good Girl."

Previously, the "TikTok Stage" concerts consisted only of musicians without an MC, but this time, famous lyricist Kim Eana will serve as the host at the upcoming event.

TikTok's online concert will be held on May 6 and will take place for about two hours starting from 7 p.m. KST. Users will be able to watch the event for free!

TikTok to Hold Three Events Ahead of the Online Concert "TikTok Stage Solo Night"

Prior to the on-tact concert, TikTok will conduct three pre-events. The first one is "Kim Eana's TikTok," in which fans will tag the "tiktok_stage" and the TikTok account of one of the four performing artists - Taemin, Kyuhyun, Jessi, and Young Ji - on the comment section of a video showing a popular TikTok challenge. Kim Eana will then choose one among the comments, and then the artists will do that TikTok challenge.

The second event is "Vote for the Artists' Song." Fans will vote for four songs they like out of the eight songs on TikTok. Each artist will have two entries. Fans who will be chosen through a lottery will win prizes such as cue cards with the artists' signatures.

The last event is the "Video Comment Event," where fans can participate by writing comments of encouragement to their favorite artists among the four performers at the concert. A poster signed by the artist will be given to participants who received the most likes.
