Last Songs of Disbanded K-pop Groups: 2NE1, GFRIEND, More [Updated 2022]

Let us take a trip down memory lane and listen to these last songs of legendary disbanded K-pop groups.

1. IZ*ONE - 'Panorama'

While IZ*ONE released "D-D-Dance" to promote Universe in January, and some members released "Zero:Attitude" with SISTAR's Soyou in February, IZ*ONE's last release as a whole group was in December 2020 with "Panorama." The group never released a farewell song, unlike the other "Produce" groups before them.

IZ*ONE disbanded on April 29, 2021.

2. SISTAR - 'Lonely'

On May 22, 2017, Starship Entertainment announced that SISTAR would be disbanding after seven years as a group, and their last comeback would be their final one as a group. The group released "Lonely" on May 31, 2017, and promoted the song with their past hits "Touch My Body," "Shake It," "Loving U," and "I Swear" on four major music shows.

SISTAR officially disbanded on June 4, 2017.

3. GFRIEND - 'MAGO'

GFRIEND's final release before disbandment was "MAGO" on November 9, 2020. Members Eunha, Yuju, and Umji helped compose and pen lyrics for the song. At the time of its release, fans were not aware that this would be GFRIEND's final release.

On May 22, 2021, Source Music announced that all six members left the group following the completion of their six-year contract.

Umji, SinB and Eunha have since re-debuted as a trio - VIVIZ - and even competed at the recently-concluded "Queendom 2".

4. 2NE1 - 'Goodbye'

After over a year of hiatus, YG Entertainment announced that 2NE1 would be disbanding in 2016. 2NE1 released "Goodbye," a track penned by leader CL as a final farewell to fans. The song was inspired by a letter CL wrote to Minzy after she left the group in 2016.

2NE1 officially disbanded on November 25, 2016. However, "Goodbye" was released in January 2017.

Meanwhile, the iconic girl group reunited on the Coachella 2022 stage and delivered an exhilarating performance of their megahit track "I Am The Best."

5. Wanna One - 'Spring Breeze'

WANNA ONE released "Spring Breeze" on November 19, 2018, as the title track of the album "1¹¹=1 (Power of Destiny)." The album serves as a culmination of their activities as a group, signaling the end of Wanna One.

Wanna One officially disbanded in January 2019, though their contracts expired on December 31, 2018. As a result, the group was able to have a few more weeks together to allow the members to attend year-end shows and award ceremonies. The group was also allowed to perform together one last time for their final concert.

Meanwhile, WANNA ONE reunited on Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2021 stage with their performance of their hits "Energetic" and "Burn It Up."

6. 4Minute - 'HATE'

4Minute released the song "Hate" on January 20, 2016, in collaboration with American producer Skrillex. At the time of its release, fans already knew 4Minute was in a tricky spot. The members were often seen asking fans to stream and make the song successful out of fear of disbandment.

Sadly, the group would end up doing just that on June 13, 2016. The company claims that they tried to persuade the members to continue the group, but that Jihyun, Gayoon, Jiyoon, and Sohyun no longer wanted to continue with group activities.

7. I.O.I - 'Downpour'

I.O.I released "Downpour" on January 18, 2017, as their final track before their official disbandment. The song was written and co-produced by SEVENTEEN member Woozi and was personally picked by all eleven members of I.O.I to be their final song. Previously, it was reported that I.O.I received numerous songs from various producers to pick from, including B1A4's Jinyoung.

I.O.I officially disbanded on January 29, 2017.

8. Wonder Girls - 'Draw Me'

Following the announcement that Wonder Girls would be disbanding, the group released the final single "Draw Me" on February 10. The song also serves as a celebration for the Wonder Girls' tenth anniversary since their debut.

Prior to the release of the song, JYP Entertainment announced that the Wonder Girls were disbanding.

9. X1 - 'Flash'

X1's first song is sadly their last. The group released "Flash" on August 1 as their debut song. The song was highly successful in South Korea, winning 11 music show wins during their promotional period.

After the producer of "Produce X 101" was arrested for manipulating the vote rankings. After discussions and a secret ballot between the members' respective agencies, it was announced on January 8, 2020, that X1 had finally disbanded. Unfortunately, this means their debut track is also their final song.

10. PRISTIN - 'We Like'

While PRISTIN debuted their first sub-unit, PRISTIN V, and released the song "Get It" on May 28, 2018, PRISTIN's final comeback as a group was back on August 23, 2017, with the song "We Like." Sadly, this was only the group's first comeback and second release, and at the time, fans were unaware this was going to be their final release.

PRISTIN officially disbanded on May 24, 2019.

11. CLC

CLC debuted in 2015 with members Yujin, Seunghee, Sorn, Seungyeon and Yeeun. Seven years later, the group parted ways.

Prior to their official disbandment on May 20, 2022, member Yujin, who was competing at "Girls Planet 999," dished out on the status of the girl group. She tearfully revealed, "I gave it all to CLC. The company said the team was dismissed."

CLC's last release as a group was their 8th EP "No. 1," with the title song "No."
