Chinese-Canadian singer Kris Wu, who is currently under arrest and investigation for the accusations of luring and sexually assaulting several women, is now embroiled in rumors of marriage and childbirth.
Rumors Have It Kris Wu is Already Married, Hiding a Child
On August 23, Korean media outlet X-Sports News released an article covering the current hot topics in the Chinese community about Kris Wu.
Based on the report, there are "insiders" claiming that the idol-actor is already married to a popular internet celebrity who is raising their 2-year-old daughter.
Internet users claimed that the alleged wife of Kris Wu is a "big shot" who didn't only graduate from a prestigious Chinese University but is also a daughter of a wealthy family.
In addition to the speculated wife's identity, it is also said that Kris Wu's mother personally chose her daughter-in-law.
A, an SNS star with both beauty and high educational background who was pointed as Kris' wife, however, indirectly denied these allegations, saying, "We used to eat, drink, and play to enjoy, but fortunately, it didn't get noisy."
She also explained that the photos captured when they were together at a drinking party are only because their friends overlapped and decided to drink together.
Although A's explanation was delivered, Chinese netizens remain suspicious of rumors.

Is Kris Wu Married and a Father of a 2-Year-Old Baby Already? Rumors Now Being Examined
In the past, stories like these sounded like "urban myths" or "ghost stories," eventually being labeled by fans as "fake."
This is because during such rumors, Kris Wu is in his prime as a top star. However, rumors are spreading once again about the current situation of the singer. Although there is no evidence yet proving the rumors, these are being carefully examined after he was initially embroiled on suspicion of sexually assaulting minors.
In particular, the former K-pop star is currently under arrest for allegedly luring and sexually assaulting several women under the pretext of music video casting and interviewing.
Although he insisted on his innocence, Chinese media stated that pieces of evidence became solid enough for Kris to have been formally arrested after the police investigation.
