fromis_9 Criticized for 'Poor' Live Vocals During Encore Stage Following Win on MBC's 'Show Champion'
Back on January 25, fromis_9 won their first music show win on MTV's "The Show" with their latest track, "DM." As a tradition, those who win hold an encore stage during the show's ending cut, with the artists performing with live vocals.
However, fromis_9 came under heavy flak for their live vocals during the encore stage, with many criticizing the girl group for their "poor" vocals and lack of good singers.
Now, on January 27, fromis_9 is once again receiving criticism for their singing abilities during the encore stage on MBC M's "Show Champion," where the group bagged their second music show win.

Donned in all-white outfits, fromis_9 delivered their thanks to fans, Flover, for helping them achieve another win after battling it out with this week's number one contenders, Choi Yena, Taeyeon, IU, and ASTRO's Jinjin and Rocky.
Some of the members can be seen having fun and cheering, dancing on their own to the song. The nine girls didn't perform the choreography of "DM," but stood in a line on stage instead.
Following the show's broadcast and the encore being shared online, fromis_9 became flooded with criticism over their live vocals from numerous netizens on online community forums, such as The Qoo.
Much like the first criticism, netizens continued to berate the girl group for not being able to sing the song's high notes despite not performing the choreography.
Some comments from netizens included, "Well, I am sure they always lip sync on stage. The difference between their encore and main stage is huge. They can't sing, you know...," "Shouldn't you be able to sing all of your own songs...? You're a singer," "Oh my gosh... They are like my friends singing at a karaoke," "It's really not good," and "There are nine members but only three of the members can sing," among others.

In the midst of criticism, members Jang Gyuri, Park Jiwon, and Song Hayoung were the only ones being praised for singing well.
Meanwhile, this marks fromis_9's second win for "DM," while it is the third time in their career they won a music show.

fromis_9's 'DM' Music Video Surpasses 20 Million Views
In other news, fromis_'s "DM" music video has surpassed 20 million views on Youtube back on January 23 at around 2:45pm.
This means that it only took the group five days to achieve the milestone, breaking their personal record with their previous release "Talk & Talk," which took one month to do so.
"DM" is now fromis_9's fifth music video to hit 20 million views, following "Talk & Talk," "Love Bomb," "We Go," and "Feel Good (Secret Code)."
