2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards: BTS and ARMY Revealed as Nominees + How to Vote
On Jan. 28, iHeartRadio took to its social media accounts to announce the full list of nominees for this year's iHeartRadio Music Awards. And, in a few categories, one renowned artist from South Korea was included.
BTS, the seven-member K-pop boy group that took the world by storm with their English hits "Dynamite," "Butter" and "Permission to Dance," managed to receive multiple nominations at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

BTS is one of the nominees in the Best Duo/Group of the Year. The septet is competing against popular international artists like AJR, Dan + Shay, Maroon 5, and Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak & Silk Sonic.
The Korean act also earned a nod in the Best Music Video category. In particular, BTS' "Butter" MV is going against Bella Poarch's "Build a B*tch," Olivia Rodrigo's "drivers license," Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habit," The Weeknd's "Save Your Tears," The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber's "Stay," among others.
Aside from BTS, their fandom ARMY is also a "2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards" nominee. The fan club is included in the Best Fan Army category and is facing off with other fandoms like Arianators (Ariana Grande), Beliebers (Justin Bieber), Selenators (Selena Gomez), Swifties (Taylor Swift), and more.

As always, the iHeartRadio Music Awards will give fans the chance to decide the winners in several categories. Among the three categories where BTS and ARMY are nominated, the Best Music Video and Best Fan Army are the only socially voted category, Best Duo/Group of the Year is not included.
To vote for BTS in the Best Music Video, fans only need to use the hashtags "#BestMusicVideo," "#Butter" and "#iHeartAwards."
As for the Best Fan Army, fans can vote using the following hashtags: "#BTSArmy," "#BestFanArmy" and "#iHeartAwards."
The voting will take place both on Twitter or at iHeartRadio's official website (iHeartRadio.com/Awards) starting on Jan. 27 and will end on March 15 at 11:59 p.m. PT for all categories.
The 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards will be held on March 22 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. It will be broadcast on all iHeartRadio radio stations and the iHeartRadio application. It will also air on FOX from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET.
BTS' Wins at Previous iHeartRadio Music Awards
This is not the first time that BTS is nominated at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. The septet has been earning nods since 2018 and each year, they were announced as among the winners.

In 2018, BTS won the Best Boy Band at the awards show, and also received the Best Fan Army for their fandom ARMY. Notably, their fandom claimed Best Fan Army from 2018 until 2021.
In 2020, the septet earned the Best Music Video for the "Boy With Luv" MV. Then, at the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards, they won Best Music Video and Favorite Music Video Choreography for "Dynamite."
