On March 30, information about a mini-album was leaked on Weibo, China's biggest social media platform. Since its leak, the post has been viewed over 60 million times.

The leak shows that a mini-album by an artist whose name starts with "Na" will be released under JYP Entertainment. The information concerning the mini-album was uploaded to South Korea's music distribution website on March 23, 2022.

Currently, that is alll the information available about TWICE member Nayeon's alleged upcoming solo debut.

If true, this would make Nayeon the first member of TWICE to debut as a soloist. While Nayeon has released solo material through TWICE's "Melody Project," she has only released digital covers and not any original music. Besides that, Nayeon has not promoted as a soloist.

TWICE has primarily focused on activities as a group. Most of their scheduled activities are to promote TWICE rather than themselves.
Over the past two years, however, the girls have been given more opportunities for solo work.
In 2021, Nayeon received her first endorsement deal since her debut as the face of Biotherm.
