On July 27, Mnet's "TMI NEWS SHOW" revealed the top 10 Korean celebrities with the highest sales in the first half of 2022- and some K-pop groups are included. The list was made based on individual sales and not the sales as a whole team. Check out the list below!

Stray Kids secured the No. 10 spot with a total sales of 30.4 billion KRW, which when divided among the eight members, each one of them gained 3.8 billion KRW.

The K-pop group's fan meeting "SKZ"s Chocolate Factory" held in February was sold out on both days. The ticket price was up to 77,000 won, and the event sales were 385 million won.
Moreover, Stray Kids' "ODDINARY" released in March surpassed 850,000 copies in the first week of release. The total album sales amounted to 16.7 billion won.

The JYP group also held concerts in the past six months as part of their "MANIAC" world tour. They first held a three-night show in Seoul, which recorded about 1.9 billion KRW in sales. During their four-day concert in Japan, the sales totaled about 4.8 billion KRW.
Finally, the sales of their North American tour with two additional shows recorded about 6.5 billion KRW.

SEVENTEEN came in at No. 9 with 62.4 billion KRW, meaning each of the 13 members of the group earned 4.8 billion KRW.
The Pledis boy group held a fan meeting in Seoul for three days (called "SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND") in March, and the event generated 1.55 billion KRW sales. They also held a two-day concert in Seoul as the start of their "Be The Sun" world tour, and it recorded 5.8 billion KRW.
Meanwhile, the sales of SEVENTEEN's fourth studio album "Face the Sun" made about 49.4 billion KRW in sales.

TWICE is the K-pop group with the third most sales in the first half of 2022. The JYP artist ranked eighth on the top 10 list with 50 billion KRW in sales. This means that each of the nine members earned about 5.5 billion KRW.
Their concerts in America accumulated 22.8 billion KRW, while their concerts at the Tokyo Dome in Japan made 18 billion KRW. The sales from the live streaming of their Japan concert on the second day were about 900 million KRW. They also held another encore concert in the United States.

Apart from their concerts, TWICE also earned from advertising. They had three advertisements in the first half of the year, and their estimated sales from those are 1.5 billion KRW based on their advertising fees of 500 million KRW last year.

NCT Dream is the K-pop group with the second most sales in the first half of 2022, recording a total of 49.8 billion KRW and each member gaining 7.1 billion KRW. With this impressive sales figure, the SM artist landed on the No. 7 spot on the top 10 list.

According to Mnet's "TMI NEWS SHOW," NCT Dream exceeded 49 billion KRW thanks to the sales of their two albums "Glitch Mode" and "Beatbox." It was stated that "Glitch Mode" sold 1.4 million copies in the first week on the Hanteo Chart- which converts to 30.1 billion KRW in sales.

Last but not least, the K-pop group with the No. 1 most sales in the first half of 2022 is none other than BTS. The boy band placed second on the overall list with a total of 246.4 billion KRW in sales, so when divided by 7, each member gets 35.2 billion KRW.
