Yeojin Faints on Stage During LOONA's Concert in Mexico City
LOONA is currently traveling around the globe to hold their first-ever world tour LOONATHEWORLD, and they recently concluded the North America and South America leg of their tour. But the group's latest concert ended with LOONA fans, Orbits, expressing their concern for a certain member.
Back on August 28 local time, LOONA held a concert at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City, which is their final stop in America after visiting eleven different cities.

However, after LOONA completed one of their performances and was posing and smiling at the audience, fans noticed that Yeojin looked like she was barely able to stand on her own. In fact, her fellow members had to help keep her steady and from falling as she seemed exhausted and dizzy.
But not long after, Yeojin ended up losing her balance and fainting on stage, shocking both her fellow members and Orbits. Her fellow members quickly helped her get off the stage, while the rest expressed their concern for the idol.
After a fancam video of Yeojin fainting on stage was shared online and made its round across social media platforms, many became increasingly worried over the health of Yeojin.

In fact, this isn't the first time fans and netizens voiced out their concerns over the LOONA members' health. Netizens even criticized the group's label, Blockberry Creative, for giving the members are tightly-packed schedule for their activities in the coming months.

And it seems Yeojin fainting on stage was a result from not having enough rest due to their constant traveling and performing in the different cities.
In addition, many also felt that she may have fainted due to Mexico City's high altitude, as K-pop idols have fainted for the same reasons in the past when they visit the city.

Blockberry Creative Gives Update on Yeojin's Health After Fainting
Naturally, many are still concerned regarding the current health status of Yeojin after she fainted.
On August 30 KST, Blockberry Creative finally released a statement to share an update with fans regarding Yeojin's current health status.

As fans suspected, Yeojin fainted due to the high altitude in Mexico City, which caused Yeojin to temporarily have issues in breathing. After being attended to by a team of medical professionals, Yeojin was able to stabilize her condition.

"On August 28 (local time), the last concert for the America leg of LOONA's first world tour '2022 LOONA 1st World Tour 'LOONATHEWORLD'' took place.
On this day, member Yeojin temporarily had breathing issues after performing a choreography at the concert in Mexico City, which is at a high altitude. She is in a stable condition after receiving immediate care from the medical team on site.
The company will put the artist's health and safety foremost and support Yeojin so that she can recover as soon as possible."
Meanwhile, LOONA will kick off the European leg of their world tour this coming September, with their first stop being in Warsaw, Poland.
