LOONA Kim Lip Walks Out Off Chicago Concert

On August 11, LOONA held a concert in Chicago in line with their world tour, "LOONATheWorld."

During the middle of the concerts, the members were seen lining up and taking a break from performing their songs. They took time to speak to fans, with each member having something to say.

Before Kim Lip's turn, member Vivi gave her comments to the crowd. When she finished, the crowd started chanting Vivi's names. This continued even when Kim Lip began to speak.

Vivi was seen asking fans to quiet down so that Kim Lip could finish her speech. Kim Lip was also seen attempting to quiet the crowd.

However, after Kim Lip's failed attempt at speaking, the idol stormed off stage. Audience goers claimed she appeared teary-eyed as she walked out.

After missing a song, Yeojin was seen heading backstage. Many speculated that it was to check on Kim Lip. When Yeojin returned to the stage, she seemed noticeably upset.

After missing three songs, Haseul informed the crowd that Kim Lip would not be returning for the rest of the concert. Though they claimed that this is because Kim Lip was not feeling well, many believe she was hurt due to the fans' actions.

LOONA Heejin Speaks Up + Kim Lip Skips Chicago Fan Meet

Following the concert, Heejin took to Fab to touch on the situation.

In her message, she claimed the members were having fun in the United States and that she was excited about their future shows. However, she asks fans to show everybody support and respect. She understands that everyone has a bias, but she asks Orbits to be nice to the other member besides their bias.

On August 11, the same day as the concert, MyMusicTaste announced that Kim Lip would not participate in the meet and greet event in Chicago. They claimed that it was due to her not feeling well.

However, eagle-eyed Orbits noticed that MyMusicTaste's original statement claimed that each member of LOONA is important and asked fans to listen carefully to their words. This statement was deleted and replaced with a new one.
