The fan was referencing the time she went to an ASTRO fansign in 2019 and asked JinJin if there was a nickname he would like fans to call him that year.

In her tweet about that moment, the fan said:
"I asked Jinwoo (t/n: JinJin's real name) if there was a nickname we can call him this 2019 and he said 'Ddaenggeul JinJin' (t/n: round/soft JinJin). Ddaengeul.. Ddaengeul... Jinwoo is sharp but seeing him say this himself is adorable. Ddaengeul Jinwoo, fighting this year too."
Later on, one netizen claimed they found the Instagram account of ASTRO JinJin's alleged girlfriend. The netizen also saw a photo of a cat on her Instagram feed and asked the name in the comments section, and the girlfriend confirmed the cat's name is Ddaengeul. The netizen's post containing a screenshot of their interaction has since been deleted.

On top of that, they also found a photo that ASTRO JinJin's alleged girlfriend posted. The image shows a male hugging the cat and people believe it's the male idol due to how the same their faces were and the fact that he owns the hat and shirt seen in the picture.
