Hacking of celebrities' social media accounts has occurred several times. In the past few weeks, IVE Jang Wonyoung's Instagram account was hacked, and it is believed that the same thing happened to BLACKPINK members' iCloud accounts.

Because of the recent hacking incidents, Eris couldn't help but worry that Baekhyun's Instagram account might also have been hacked.
SM Entertainment was soon contacted by media outlets for a response about the matter. The company then released a statement clarifying that Baekhyun isn't a victim of hacking. Rather, he had cleared his feed himself because he wanted to reorganize it after his military discharge.

The EXO member confirmed this in a recent tweet. He explained that he had a "sudden strong desire" to reorganize his Instagram feed. He also said that fans can anticipate his feed's new look next year.

In a separate tweet, Baekhyun revealed that he still doesn't know how to redecorate his feed and that he just archived all of his previous posts - which is great news to EXO-Ls as fans were initially worried that he might have deleted them.

The "Love Shot" singer's explanation was followed by a tweeting spree, delighting EXO-Ls. The last time he did this was on Sept. 10 when he uploaded several photos featuring him.
In his following tweets, EXO Baekhyun continued to talk about his Instagram account. He said in another tweet that he cannot delete his Instagram posts because it would be a waste if he did.

The idol then remarked in a different post, "There were a lot of people that thought they knew a lot about me!!! Hahaha is this playing hard to get... automatically playing hard to get..."

Afterward, Baekhyun told the fans that he immediately wanted to talk to them to clarify that his posts were gone not because of hacking.

Currently, Baekhyun is serving as a public service worker and is expected to be discharged in February 2023.
