RM's "Indigo" has successfully entered the Billboard 200, reaching the BTS member's highest position on the chart and making history at the same time.

RM Scores His Highest Billboard 200 Rank + Makes History on Chart With 'Indigo'

On Dec. 12 local time, Billboard revealed the debuts on the popular Top 200 Albums chart for the week ending on Dec. 17 - one of them is "Indigo," which was released on the 2nd.

In particular, RM's "Indigo" ranked No. 15 with 31,000 digital units sold, marking the BTS member's highest rank on the chart in his solo career. His previous record was No. 26 set by his 2018 playlist "mono."

Notably, the Korean release achieved the second-highest entry this week, coming behind Metro Boomin's "Heroes & Villains," which debuted atop of the albums chart.

On top of that, "Indigo" is now RM's second entry (following "mono") on Billboard 200. With this, RM is now the first Korean soloist in history to land two different albums in the top 30 of the chart.

Outside of the famous Top 200 Albums chart, RM's "Wild Flower" featuring youjeen (the title track off of "Indigo") debuted at No. 1 on this week's Digital Song Sales chart, marking the first No. 1 hit for both artists.

"Wild Flower" also entered at No. 83 on Billboard Hot 100, earning both artists their first-ever solo entries on the chart.

RM now becomes the sixth BTS member to land his solo project on Hot 100, following j-hope ("Chicken Noodle Soup," "More," "Arson"), SUGA/Agust D ("Daechwita," "Girl of My Dreams," "That That"), V ("Christmas Tree"), Jungkook ("Stay Alive," "Left And Right"), and JIN ("The Astronaut").

Last week, RM's "Bicycle" debuted at No. 3 on the World Digital Song Sales chart, attaining his seventh solo top 5 hit on the chart. He now ties with Wizkid and BIGBANG G-Dragon as the soloist with the fourth-most songs to enter the top 5 of the chart.

Additionally, RM dominated last week's Hot Trending Songs chart with his songs from "Indigo." He occupied the first, second, and third places with "No.2 (with Park Jiyoon)," "Forg_tful with Kim Sawol)," and "Lonely," respectively. He also claimed No. 7 with "Hectic" (with Colde).

RM's 'Indigo' & 'Wild Flower' Debut on UK's Official Charts

In other news, RM made it to several of the United Kingdom's Official Charts with "Indigo" and "Wild Flower."

For the week of Dec. 9 to 15, "Indigo" landed at No. 45 on the Official Albums Chart. With this entry, RM has become the only third Korean solo artist to ever debut on the chart, following his fellow BTS members Suga (with "D-2") and J-Hope (with "Jack in the Box").

"Indigo" also ranked No. 4 on the Official Albums Downloads Chart and No. 55 on the Official Albums Sales Chart this week. Meanwhile, the title song "Wild Flower" (feat. youjeen) entered at No. 8 on the Official Singles Downloads Chart and No. 10 on the Official Singles Sales Chart.
