The photos have gone viral across online communities.

On September 11, numerous photos were posted in a platform, showing ZEROBASEONE member Zhang Hao's eerie encounter with certain fans, who apparently followed him and took his pictures on an escalator. See the photos below:

ZEROSEs (ZEROBASEONE's fandom) expressed their shock with the uploaded photos, and conveyed how uncanny it was seeing the incident.

They also voiced out their worry for the idol's mental health, as well as his reaction seeing random people take his pictures in such a way that violates his personal space. ZEROSEs were also disgruntled with the people shown for being too extreme with their approaches.

Meanwhile, netizens added how much mental strength was needed in order to survive as an idol. They were also amazed with Zhang Hao's calm reaction over the chaos, given how unnatural it was for someone to have their own personal boundaries breached.

They commented:

•  "It takes a strong soul to be an idol because I will never have the capability to deal with this kind of stuff."
•  "I would get cancelled immediately for telling them to f**k off and leave me alone. These idols are so patient."
•  "I'd be pushing people away in a genuine manner."
