TWS Visuals Garner Divided Respones Following Debut Showcase

On January 22, 2024, TWS held a press conference to celebrate their debut. The group released their first mini-album, "Sparkling Blue," with a lead single of the same name. The group is composed of Jihoon, Kyungmin, Hanjin, Dohoon, Youngjae, and Shinyu.

Photos of the members during their debut showcase were uploaded to several Korean news outlets. Following the reveal, many took to social media to share their thoughts on the members. In particular, thoughts on their visuals saw mixed reactions from Korean internet users.

Many felt the visuals of the members were lackluster. Some claimed they looked like idols from a small agency rather than from a large company like HYBE. On the other hand, other internet users claim they lacked a member who captivated people's attention. Many also stated they did not suit the fresh concept they debuted with.

Others also stated that they looked completely different from how they appeared in their pre-debut videos.

• "Maybe the photos are the issue?"
• "They don't suit the refreshing concept at all. It's like they are trying to force the fresh concept on them."

• "They look like small agencies' idols."
• "There's not a single one who is drawing my attention."

TWS Shinyu and Dohoon Earn Praise for Their Visuals

However, two members did stand out from the rest: Shinyu and Dohoon.

Many claimed Shinyu had visuals reminiscent of Stray Kids member Hyunjin. With his cat-like eyes and plump lips, the resemblance is uncanny! Some also claimed that he has a vibe that older women would like.

The one who garnered the most praise, however, is Dohoon, who many assume is the visual of TWS.

Many were shocked by how handsome he looked, comparing him to AI. Some claim he gives off an actor vibe thanks to how small his face is. Internet users expressed how shocked they are at how handsome he is at such a young age and expect him to grow up even more beautifully.

Some comments about Dohoon read,
