2NE1's CL Criticized For Words Regarding Asian Females

Ahead of her yet-to-be-announced English-language debut album, the 2NE1 leader and solo artist CL was interviewed by Paper Magazine. Her words regarding Asian women led to a backlash of criticism from Korean audiences, who suggested that she not return to the Korean music scene following her debut in the American music market.

The same week, CL attended the MTV VMA's ahead of the release of her first American-release album. 

  

TVXQ's Yunho and After School's UEE Involved In Dating Rumors

Dating rumors spread regarding TVXQ's "U-Know" Yunho and After School member and actress UEE, after UEE attended the TVXQ member's military training completion ceremony on August 27. UEE's agency, Pledis Entertainment, confirmed that UEE attended the ceremony but denied that they were dating and instead were just friends. Yunho's agency, SM Entertainment, did not comment on the rumors.

Ladies' Codes Commemorates Fallen Members

On Sept. 3, 2014, Ladies' Code's van was in an accident that led to the untimely demise of two of their members, EunB and RiSe. This year, in commemoration of the women, Polaris Entertainment, Ladies' Code's company, released a commemorative re-make of Ladies' Code's song, "I'm Fine Thank You."
