Emii's new Christmas song "I Saw Momma Kissing Santa Claus" dropped on iTunes, Amazon, and popular streaming services this morning. The song is s part Pop, a little Rock, and even includes a healthy helping of Southern Gospel.

"I started writing 'Momma' with composer Jose Varon before last Christmas, and it was so different and so much fun we knew we had to finish it for this year," Emii said in a statement.

Emii also threw in some clever surprises in the revamped lyrics, it is playfully fun. It is surely unlike any Christmas song cover you have ever heard.

Emii is currently on a dozen-city radio tour promoting her latest single "Lover's Cross," written by the late songwriter Jim Croce.

Emii is making her mark as an independent artist. Her song "Heart in a Box" is holding strong at #2 in the Top 10 Most Active Independent Artists chart.

Emii's previous single, "Leaving You Behind," remained in the Top 5 Most Active Independent Artists on both the Pop and A/C Mediabase Charts for nine consecutive weeks, including a two week stay at #1 on Pop.
