The "Attack on Titan" season 2 has been up in the air for quite some time now but that doesn't mean it is not happening.

The reception to the phenomenal manga has been to the roofs and it translated to every adaptation of it. The anime series is much anticipated, the movie, although lacking according to critics, still attracted a lot of moviegoers which makes it a success. Also, games for different platforms are coming out which means the demand remains high.

Now, a short video was leaked and it was confirmed that the scene below will happen in season 2. It can be seen that darker secrets within the Wall Rose will be revealed and the chances of the human race living keeps on becoming slimmer.

There's also another unsolved mystery in the basement of Eren's house. What could his father be keeping secret down there?

With that said, there are still plenty of content to be given life to in "Attack on Titan" season 2 which is expected to cover the events of the fifth story arc, "Clash of Titans" arc. Warning: major spoilers ahead.

This story arc will include the mysterious appearance of Titans inside the wall (as seen in the video above) and this will pit the 104^th squad to battle against the menacing Titans.

Meanwhile, the sixth story arc might or might not be covered in "Attack on Titan" season 2 as there's a chance it will be the main storyline for season 3.

The sixth arc is entitled "Uprising," in which the chaos inside Wall Rose goes up to an all-time high. Pastor Nick will die while Eren and Historia will be abducted. This will force the hand of captain Erwin to take the fight to the government as humanity is getting close to extinction.
