South Korean actor and singer Jo Jung Suk sparked laughter and praise from fans after openly expressing his admiration for K-pop girl group aespa in front of his wife, singer Gummy, during a recent video posted on his YouTube channel.
Per Naver, the lighthearted exchange took place in a video uploaded May 30 titled "Singing a Duet with My Eardrum-Defying Gummy | Jo Jung Suk X Gummy Talk and Live." During the conversation, the couple discussed the possibility of idol guests appearing on Jo Jung Suk's music-focused content.
When asked by the production team whether idol groups might appear on the program in the future, Gummy confidently replied that viewers could expect many appearances. Jo Jung Suk echoed her enthusiasm, saying idol guests would be warmly welcomed.

The conversation took a humorous turn when Gummy asked her husband if there was a specific artist he hoped would appear. Without hesitation, Jo Jung Suk answered, "It's our aespa. The aespa members," according to Koreaboo.
His response immediately surprised the production team, prompting laughter from Gummy. People were probably wondering what sort of link he had to the popular girl band, seeing the response.
Jo Jung Suk then openly admitted his admiration for aespa, clasping his hands together and shyly saying that he liked the group. The candid confession drew even more laughter from those present.
