The power and mysteries of Zygarde continues to grow, particularly after the most recent episode of the Pokemon "XY & Z" anime.

Recently, a Pokemon "XY & Z" episode depicted further interactions between the Zygarde Core and the other Pokemon. During a particular sequence, "Squishy" displayed its true power by reviving the plant life around it.

"So Zygarde can create life like Xernas; does that mean it can also cause death like Yveltal?" asked reddit user Dark-Scar.

This is just one of several recent revelations regarding the various Zygarde Formes. As previously reported, the latest CoroCoro leaks revealed a new type of Zygarde Core with a different color on its abdomen.

"I think there might be even more, at least five," commented reddit user XeverstonedX. "Look at this. The complete Zygarde is holding five 'cores' in its chest."

Of course, Zygarde having control over nature has been a longstanding attribute known by Pokemon fans. According to the official Pokemon website, Zygarde Complete Forme is the "perfect Forme that Zygarde takes when the Core gathers 100% of the Cells."

"When the ecosystem is under threat, and the Core concludes that the 50% Forme will be unable to deal with it, the Core takes on the Complete Forme. Its power is said to be greater than that of the Legendary Pokémon Xerneas and Yveltal!"

Based on the various Formes of Zygarde, there appears to be further connections to Norse mythlogy, this time based on Loki's children.

"I don't know if this has been posted before, but has anyone noticed that the new forms represent Loki's children, with Zygarde 10% being Fenrir, Zygarde 50% being Jörmungandr and Zygarde Perfect as Hel," wrote reddit user 4000lux.
