People who want to learn whether the house they live in is haunted can find out in a link that comes with the new "Poltergeist" movie trailer.

"This isn't just a few pissed off spirits we're dealing with, it's a Poltergeist" reboot, warns the trailer. Thirty years after Stephen Spielberg's retelling of the famed haunted house story, Poltergeist is being remade in a contemporary setting.

Fox 2000 Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures released their new trailer for the supernatural thriller Poltergeist. The film will Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jared Harris and Jane Adams. Jared Harris, the son of late acting legend Richard Harris, will play Carrigan, a "larger than life TV personality who left the world of academia behind to become the star host of basic cable TV show 'Haunted House Cleaners,'" according to the press release.

Poltergeist is being produced by legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi, who brought us  Spiderman, Evil Dead, The Grudge and Xena The Warrior Princess. Gil Kenan, who made Monster House is directing.

Poltergeist hits theaters in 3-D on July 24.
