Daryl, Abraham Death Rumors After Alleged Negan Video, 'Walking Dead' Glenn Baby Storyline

With the mid-season finale of "The Walking" Season 6, the name Negan has become a fearsome rumor generator amongst fans, specifically on who he will bring down when our survivors encounter the iconic Lucille.

In a post-credit scene during "The Walking Dead" Season 6 mid-season finale, Abraham, Sasha and Daryl Dixon encountered Negan's group of Saviors. With this, the Huffington Post and other observers ignited rumors that one of these main characters might be headed toward their demise, as opposed to Glenn.

"With the Glenn death fake-out from this season, many predict Daryl Dixon will take Glenn's place as Negan's victim," wrote Huffington Post contributor Bill Bradley.

"What's worse, there's already leaked footage apparently showing Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killing someone with his baseball bat, and Norman Reedus is taking on more and more projects, including a motorcycle show with AMC."

Judging from the footage, it is impossible to tell who is allegedly receiving a whooping from Lucille, but one thing is certain—Sasha, Abraham and Daryl appear to be heading towards a Negan confrontation far earlier than Glenn. The iconic villain is perhaps best known for killing Glenn in the graphic novel, one of the most memorable deaths in the series.

"It will be Morgan or Abraham that Negan kills in the finale," wrote Charles Mayer on Sunday. "Glenn will survive to see his baby born."

So, will Glenn survive the unthinkable, thanks to the newly introduced baby storyline with Maggie Greene?

"It'd be disingenuous of me to say, from a viewer's point of view, that I wouldn't be afraid," said executive producer Scott M. Gimple to TVLine.

"But what am I holding out hope for? That it isn't going to be like that? And, man, if it isn't going to be like that, then what is going to happen? I doubt it's going to involve flowers. The fact that he's coming is not going to mean great stuff for Rick's group."
