Synopsis/Recap:

This week's episode begins with Lindo in bed from his recent battle with Rem and Ritsuka at his side. She remembers when he once saved her cat and fell from a tree to do so. Ritsuka feels that if she's really the grimoire she should be able to heal him, given everything he's done for her through her life. Even when they were younger, Lindo believed he must get stronger to protect her.

Then she feels awkward remembering his love confession.

Ritsuka goes hunting for food and water to give to Lindo. She wonders how to unlock her powers as the grimoire. Elsewhere, Rem is confronted by the other members of the student council. They scold him for his silly scheme of sending them to Vienna even though Ritsuka herself is the grimoire. They declare that they will no longer trust him as their leader.

Furthermore, they demand to know if Rem is in love with Ritsuka and if that is the reason he's been thwarting their efforts to get to her.

Ritsuka runs into a vampire who claims that he will take her to her missing mother. She quickly says goodbye to Rem and heads off with the vampire, who is named Lord Jek. Shortly after, Lindo wakes up and realizes that Ritsuka is missing.

Ritsuka sees her mother and then Lord Jek sits her down for tea. He then begins to tell her a story about devil king taking a human bride that resulted in the first human child with royal blood. That child is Ritsuka. The power of the grimoire was held inside Ritsuka, whose mother was Maria, and the devil king was named Maksis.

Ritsuka's earth mom finally wakes up. It appears she's been fed on by vampires. Ritsuka wondered why her life had become so weird, and it now makes sense to hear because she is the daughter of the devil king. Lord Jek tells her that the vampire king Lord Nesta knows how to save her.

Lord Jek tells her a story about how the devils have repressed the vampires and how they plan to beat them by removing the grimoire power from her. He then tells her she has to submit or it will be the end for her and her mother.

Ritsuka agrees to meet Lord Nesta. Meanwhile, Lindo and Rem search for Ritsuka fearing for her safety.
