‘Fifty Shades Darker’ News: Changes Expected In Ana? Charlize Theron, Henry Cavill Joining The Cast?

As the team is now prepping up for the production of "Fifty Shades Darker," recent news claim that lead female character Anastasia Steele is expected to exude some changes.

According to Movie Pilot, a more humorous Ana, being played by Dakota Johnson, will be seen in the second installment of this film which was adopted from the controversial book of the same title by E. L. James.

While citing an interview with "Elle" magazine, the site revealed that the 26-year-old actress would like her role to be someone whom the audience can surely relate to.

It was learned from this particular "Fifty Shades Darker" news that based on Johnson's account, Ana "needs to get a sense of humor" as the "Jump Street" star "explained how difficult it is for viewers to relate" to her character.

"I need Ana to be funny," she exclaimed.

"If you can't laugh during a movie like that, you're fucked. Literally," she added. "You need to have something that everyone can relate to."

However, it is still unknown if its director and writer will adopt this strategy.

Meanwhile, a Fashion & Style "Fifty Shades Darker" news disclosed that the lead character may be sporting a blonde look already, totally different from the "brunette tresses" that the fans are used to.

As she was "spotted out and about in New York City with blonde hair," the outlet speculated that it could be her new look in the upcoming film Jamie Dornan, who plays Christian Grey.

"...could it be that the film's new director, James Foley, wants to take the character in a radically different direction?" the report noted.

On the other hand, the Latin Post shared in a news report that Charlize Theron, Michelle Pfeiffer and Henry Cavill are among the other artists who are rumored to be joining the cast of "Fifty Shades Darker."
