Now, fans over at Manga Helpers believe Brandish is a Celestial Spirit that was owned by Layla, Lucy's mother. User NatsuLucy noted that she might be a Celestial Spirit as she resembles Venus.

"Brandish may be interstellar Spirit.The Symbol on Her Head is similar to Venus," the user wrote. If not Venus, Brandish could also be Mu Andromedae.

Nevertheless, user Sam5000 believes Brandish will be rescued by Lucy from Marin and she will finally talk about her past with Lucy's mother, Layla. According to the user, Brandish is actually a servant, not a Celestial Spirit.

"I think brandish will be saved by Lucy and a couple of other guild members," the user wrote. "Maybe brandish was one of Layla's servants who was entrusted with a special kind of key but something went wrong."
