Houston Rockets Trade Rumors: Terrence Jones And Ty Lawson To Be Packaged In A Deal?

The Houston Rockets are back to .500 but that does not mean they are not making any roster changes soon.

They are not making much progress despite having a relatively healthy line-up and team owner Leslie Alexander is growing a bit impatient on the team losing majority of their games. The owner wants the team to win-now and the pressure is on for GM Daryl Morey to make immediate improvements.

Two players in the Rockets rotation that are most likely to be moved are newly acquired point guard from the Denver Nuggets Ty Lawson and oft-injured forward Terrence Jones.

According to Yahoo Sports Adrian Wojnarowski, Lawson is being shopped by the Rockets and as stated in our previous report, he might be shipped to Milwaukee in exchange for O.J. Mayo and Greivis Vasquez.

However, some teams might find landing Lawson alone as unattractive which might force the Rockets to include at least one valuable asset in the deal, and this is where Terrence Jones enters.

The forward has been playing well since returning to injury and he told Chronicle that he is just thinking about playing well in a game, nothing more, nothing less.

"Just playing without little injuries, just going out there and being able to feel comfortable and go out there without thinking about anything but the game felt real good," Jones said. "It's been stagnant a little bit. Minutes have been up and down. It's hard to find a rhythm that way."

"I just wanted to go out there and just try to be aggressive and make plays for teammates. They ended up getting me open and getting me my easy baskets."

With that said, his trade value might be a bit higher now and teams might likely take a chance on the versatile forward, as well as the struggling Lawson.
