Manny Pacquiao Next Fight Is Against Adrien Broner? Crawford And Bradley Out Of The Conversation?

Timothy Bradley and Terrence Crawford might have to stand aside as Manny Pacquiao next fight might be against Adrien Broner.

The Filipino boxer was supposed to announce his next opponent last Dec. 11 but ultimately decided to delay his decision.

Previously, it was believed that he is down to choosing between Bradley and Crawford but now, Broner is part of the mix and Crawford is out. According to Mike Coppinger, the undefeated American boxer will instead defend his title in February of 2016.

Also, in a report by Opening Round, Bob Arum and Pacquiao are having a conflict of interest as the Top Rank CEO wants Crawford (who is now out of the conversation) while Pac-Man wants a third and deciding match against Bradley. However, Bradley is said to be not interested with a tie-breaking match against Pac-Man.

Since Pacquiao is running for a Senate position in the Philippines, failing to find an opponent soon might mean retirement and no fight happening on April 9.

Now, Pacquiao's advisor Michael Koncz is also inclined with the idea of Pac-Man fighting Broner.

"Aside from the three guys Top Rank mentioned as candidates, Koncz also floated the name of Adrien Broner, the reigning world super-lightweight champion," Nick Giongco told mb.com.ph.

Also, Broner affirmed that Pac-Man's camp is indeed communicating with him for a possible match.

"I hear they want me to fight Pacquiao next...Michael Koncz actually called me...we waiting to hear from him...I love fighting southpaws, man...he's a great guy...it'll be a hell of a fight...young rising star against an elite Hall of Famer going out," he said.
