It seems a new boy group will be joining the ranks of hit groups BEAST and BTOB this coming year.

On December 31, Union News revealed that CUBE Entertainment is preparing to debut a new boy group within the first half of 2016. The news comes from an industry insider, who discussed the new group with a number of Korean news outlets.

CUBE's new boy group is said to tentatively be named Pentagon, leading fans to believe that the new group will have five members.

The Union News article states that although the members have yet to be fully decided each and every candidate is a skilled trainee who will bring a lot to the group. Producing and composing are just a few of the skills that the CUBE trainees boast. Some of the trainees come from abroad as well.

In 2009 CUBE debuted their hit six-member boy group BEAST. Then, in 2012 they debuted seven-member group BTOB. With four years since BTOB's debut it seems about time that CUBE Entertainment releases a new rookie into the fray.
