‘Bad Boys 3’ Movie Update: Will Smith To Reprise As Mike Lowrey And Martin Lawrence as Detective Marcus Burnett

The excitement is building up for the release of ''Bad Boys 3'' on Jun. 2, 2017. It is confirmed that Will Smith will play the role of Detective Mike Lowrey and Martin Lawrence as Detective Marcus Burnett.

''Michael Bay, when asked in 2011 if there would be a "Bad Boys 3", stated that after Transformers: Dark of the Moon (which opened in theaters June 2011) that he may direct it. However, he said that the greatest obstacle would be production costs, since he and Will Smith demand some of the highest film salaries'' was confirmed by Wikia.

TMZ reported in Mar. 2016 that Jerry Bruckheimer, the producer of ''Bad Boys II'' signed a deal with Will Smith and the fans can relax and wait for the release of the movie. ''Will Smith and Jerry Bruckheimer have agreed to make "Bad Boys 3" ... TMZ has learned'' is what the article said about the forthcoming movie.

''Sources connected with both Bruckheimer and Smith tell TMZ, the 2 have talked for hours in the last 2 days -- 4 hours at dinner Tuesday night and a long lunch on Wednesday -- to hash out the terms of the contract. They also spent time working on the script'' the article added further.

So what will be storyline of the movie? Being a ''Bad Boys'' movie sequel, of course the movie will involve the choc-o-block drama of the Miami Police Department (MPD) narcotics division detectives Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey.

''Well, new sequels to Men In Black and Independence Day are on the way, neither of which is likely to involve star Will Smith in any way. But after speculation last year that he'd be walking away from the Bad Boys movie series too, he's now confirmed that he will indeed be back for Bad Boys 3 at the very least'' confirmed Den of Geek.

So now since the casting is in a nascent stage, Kpopstarz will keep on updating the readers about the development in the plot and filming in the future articles.
