It has been confirmed by YG Entertainment that Big Bang will indeed appear as guests on MBC's "Weekly Idol".

MBC Every1 has stated that Big Bang will record their episode next week and it will air on mid-January next year. According to Yibada, this is the first time that Big Bang will appear on "Weekly Idol" as a whole group. G Dragon did appear on Weekly Idol before when he was promotion his solo album "Coup d'Etat".

Big Bang fans are excited as to what segments and parts of the popular idol show Big Bang will do. For the first timers, the segment "profiling" is always present. They check the members' profiles and see if it is still dated or not. They also check if the things on their profile are correct and are still doable by the person.

Also, another popular segment is the "random play dance" which most of the guest do. Big Bang members aren't really known for their synchronized dancing so this is going to be fun.

Another famous segment is the "2x faster dance". Big bang might do this segment with their famous songs of the recent ones.

Allkpop reported that it was also confirmed by YG Entertainment that Big Bang members has filmed other MBC variety shows like "Infinite Challenge" and "Radio Star".   

It is unlikely for YG Entertainment to let Big Bang do variety shows. However, fans are definitely not complaining because they want to see Big Bang as much as they can.

Moreover, there were other YG Entertainment artists who recently went to "Weekly Idol". Sech Kies, the 90's boy group who recently came back, went as guest and enjoyed the variety show. Also, Blackpink went there too.

Meanwhile, next year member TOP will have his mandatory military service. This is his last promotion with the group before the other members do their military service too.
