Running Man members will still have group activities after show ends in 2017

It was already confirmed that the well-loved urban variety show "Running Man" will be ending on February 2017.

As written by Koreaboo, the "My Wife is having an Affair this Week" actress and the other half of the Monday Couple Song Ji Hyo shared that there will still be a "Running Man" tour to gather and thank their fans from around the world.

MY Company, Song Ji Hyo's agency, revealed that despite "Running Man" ending on February, the said tour will continue up until March. Specifically, the global fan meeting will run for three months starting on January. There will be around 2 fan meetings per month that will be inserted in the midst of the last months of shooting the SBS variety show.

Earlier this month, Kpop Starz wrote that Song Ji Hyo got involved in a controversy with "Running Man" as she and co-host Kim Jong Kook were removed from the roster of the members for the supposed overhaul of the variety show next year. Insiders also revealed that the said decision didn't reach the two members causing an uproar from the agencies of Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook, and likewise, with the fans of the show from all over the world.

This issue was then somehow resolved upon the release of the official apology of the "Running Man" producers and executives. They suddenly revealed that instead of continuing with the removal of Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook and getting host replacements, the show will finally end next year with the six original members.

Despite these controversies, Song Ji Hyo's agency further stated that they already had a conversation with the producers of the variety show and agreed that the actress will still join the other five hosts on the "Running Man" tour.

However, MY Company also revealed that national MC Yoo Jae Suk and former member Kang Gary won't be present in the fan meetings.
