Girl group CLC is captivated by the drama “Guardian/Goblin.” They launched a series of photoshoot concept inspired by the drama for their upcoming album. Their single and title track of the album also resemble the name of the drama.

Their first mini album titled 'CRYSTYLE’ is scheduled to release on Jan. 17 as reported by Stoo News. Their title track and single from the album is the song titled “Goblin.”

In their social media (SNS), the group released a series of photo concept for their new album. They also released the concept for the cover of their title track “Goblin.” The photos exhibit their new image and showcase their evolution from pretty and cute girls into the mature and serious woman.

Recently, CLC has just returned from Japan from their first fan meeting in Tokyo as reported by Seoul Daily News. The event was held at Tokyo Tower Records on Sunday, Jan.8.

The girl group has built a large fanbase in Japan after they released two EPs in Japanese last year. The first Japanese EP was “High Heels” and "Chamisma" in April and July 2016 respectively. “High Heels” was sold more than 2,500 copies while "Chamisma" scored almost 5,000 copies in sales, based on the data from Oricon Chart, the Japanese album chart.

CLC was formed in 2015 by Cube Entertainment. The name CLC is taken as initial from the word Crystal Clear that becomes the main concept of their music and image.

They debuted in March 2015 with single “Pepe” followed by the mini album (EP) “First Love” in the same month. Singer Rain has taken part to work on the choreography of their song “Pepe.” Rain was managed by the same agency, Cube Entertainment, before he established his own agency in October 2015.

Within two years, CLC has produced five mini albums in Korean and two in Japanese. Now they prepare a new mini album 'CRYSTYLE’ which to be released on Jan. 17.
