"Train to Busan" Gong Yoo has topped the list of a brand reputation chart for Korean actors. The actor, who is coming from the success of his latest drama "Goblin" beat out Lee Byung Hun, "The King" actor Jo In Sung and "Secret Garden" star Hyun Bin for the top spot.

According to a report by Donga, "Goblin" actor Gong Yoo scored 5,681,565 in a survey conducted by Korea Business Research Institute between February 17 and March 17, 2017.  The actor's profile rose significantly from the previous month as he marked a 47 percent increase.

Among the other stars who made it to the Top 10 list are "G.I. Joe" star Lee Byung Hun and "You Who Came from the Stars" actor Kim Soo Hyun who took third place. Joo Jin Woong and Jun Ji Hyun also made it to the top 5. Hyun Bin, Jun Woo Sung, Jo In Sung, Han Ji Min and Yoo Hae Jin rounded up the list of most popular actors on the brand reputation chart.

Fans are wondering what will be next for the actor after "Goblin". Gong Yoo has earlier debunked rumors that there will be a sequel to the hit drama after fans speculated that the ending leaves it open ended for a continuation to the immortal god's story. He said that some stories are meant to end as they should.

Meanwhile, Management Soop, hinted that Gong Yoo's next project may not be a drama. The management hinted that the actor will be focusing on his endorsements and a possible movie this year after a series of fan events, reported Kpopstarz.

Gong Yoo is reported to be holding a special fan event on April 29 in Taiwan and will also make a stop in Hong Kong in May 5. The actor is also planning to hold a charity bazaar in one of his fan events.
