Former YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk and other YG employees will be summoned to prosecution in line with Hanbin's drug case.

Hanbin's case is again stirring as the prosecution is reported to summon Yang Hyun Suk and other employees of the agency, according to a source within legal circles. It was recalled that on the 23rd, former idol trainee, Han Seo Hee, attended the questioning done at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office. When asked about possibly altering her statement, she said that she would faithfully engage herself in the prosecution's proper process in regard to the controversial drug case.

According to the source, the prosecution will summon the aforementioned persons involved that are considered as accomplices in the cover-up of Hanbin's drug investigations. Yang Hyun Suk and this certain group of individuals contradicted the speculations while under examinations after Han Seo Hee's statement came.

Yang Hyun Suk even mentioned how the Prosecution believed a strange girl like Han Seo Hee, who has been unbelievable ever since. Thus, the summoning is intended for further investigations.

Han Seo Hee, being the whistleblower in 2016, has caused a huge online buzz and media headlines after being revealed as the informant of Hanbin's drug scandal. It was also reported that she was forced to turn down her statement after being asked to come to Yang Hyun Suk's office, according to her lawyer in 2019.

In February of this year, the police have officially announced that the former Hanbin tested negative from illegal drugs after undergoing several drug tests. In 2019, fans of the K-pop artist were saddened as singer and rapper stepped down as iKON's leader and left YG Entertainment due to the controversy. It was Dispatch that made it to the news that he was caught securing marijuana and LSD in 2016.

Earlier on, fans expressed hopefulness that Hanbin will get back on his feet after news came out that his case is on its final verdict. In March this year, he released a song on his SoundCloud titled "Demo 2," which talks about leaving and moving forward.

Fans believe that Hanbin will able to be on stage as a performer once again.
